Laurel Loveland
Executive Director

Laurel moved to Teton Valley in 1999 to work as the Executive Director of the Teton Valley Humane Society, jump-starting her career in non-profit management. She went on to work for another local non-profit, Family Safety Network, for 5 years as their Fiscal Coordinator. She has been with TVCS since 2006. This position suits her well because it allows her to use her finance, management, and communication skills while being close to her 2 children, Quinn and Ariana, who both attend TVCS. Laurel has a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently working toward her master's degree in non-profit management through Portland State University. She enjoys horseback riding, traveling, reading and spending time with her children and husband.

Cynthia Riegel

Cindy Riegel moved west from upstate New York immediately after graduating from college. Following several years of exploring, teaching, and conducting wildlife research in the Greater Yellowstone Area, she returned east to earn her MS in botany from the University of Vermont. She moved back to Victor, Idaho in 2000, securing a professional job, house, and husband all in the same year. Cindy began serving on the TVCS Board of Directors in 2005 when her daughter Skylar was one year old. The first task she accomplished was developing and implementing a business plan for the Center For Early Learners (CFEL), which successfully opened in 2006. She has since been involved everything from curriculum to fundraising and has attended several workshops in non-profit management. In her free time, Cindy enjoys cooking, yoga, trail running, mountain biking, and skiing of all types.

Erin Visconti
Intern

Erin grew up in New England and attended a school with a philosophy very similar to that of TVCS. She attended St. Lawrence University in upstate New York and received a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Anthropology and a minor in African Studies. She studied abroad in Denmark and Kenya. Erin was first drawn to the Tetons for a snow science and backcountry skiing course this past winter and knew that she had to find her way back to the area. She drove across the country in May to be an AmeriCorps field instructor at Teton Science Schools in Jackson, WY where she worked with first and second graders in programs including "Call of the Wild" and "Explorers". She wanted to stay in the area and continue working with kids so she was very excited to hear about the intern position at TVCS and is looking forward to an amazing year. Erin also enjoys backcountry skiing, running, reading, and just playing outside!

Erin can be reached at intern@tetonvalleycommunityschool.org
