Katie AlexanderPhysical Education
Katie was born and raised in upstate New York. She attended Clarkson University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Katie has taught a variety of differnet sports including Telemark, downhill and Nordic skiing, gymnastics, and kid's fitness classes. Katie lives in Driggs with her husband, two cats, and two dogs. When Katie isn't teaching sports, she enjoys skiing, horseback riding and ceramics.

Erika EschholtzFarm and Garden
Erika grew up gardening and surrounded by farmland in rural New England. She received a BA from Hope College, MI in 1990 and a MS in Environmental Education from Aurora University, IL in 1992. She has been working with a broad range of ages in outdoor and environmental education since. Erika has been involved with local organic farming for the past 10 years with The Cosmic Apple Garden and currently Snowdrift Farm. Erika feels it is wonderful to share the joys of growing ones own food with the children and inspiring them to live more sustainably in their daily life. In 2006 she founded a garden education program sponsored by Teton Valley Community School called Full Circle Education.

Virginia GrosseArt
Virginia grew up in Boston and later moved to Rhode Island to attend Providence College. She received her Bachelor's degree in Studio Arts and was lucky enough to study art in Pietrasanta, Italy. Virginia moved to Teton Valley in 1991 with her husband Clint and their two children, Alexandra and Hunter. Virginia taught art to students in the Teton County School District when her children were growing up. In addition to teaching art at TVCS, she also works as a librarian at the Teton County Library in Alta, as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Soli Conservation District, and she teaches downhill skiing at Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Virginia lives in Driggs with her husband and a variety of differnt pets.

Bonnie Krafchuk Spanish
Bonnie was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She moved to Teton Valley in the late 1970s and earned a BA in Education from Idaho State University. Her teaching experience includes: 2nd and 4th grade teacher at Victor Elementary School, coordinating an Adult Education Program for Latino adults and adolescents, organizing a language exchange between English and Spanish speakers, and teaching English Language Learners in grades 9-12 for Jackson High School. Her formal study of Spanish began at Idaho State University and continued in Banos, Ecuador, Oaxaca, Mexico, and Salamanca, Spain. Bonnie lives in Tetonia with her husband and animals, and enjoys backcountry skiing, kayaking, and hiking the Teton trails.

Susan SargentMusic
Susan was born and raised in Idaho. She then moved east to attend Gonzaga University where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She later earned her teaching certification and began teaching Special Education in 1980. After receiving an endorsement to her certification in Music, Susan began teaching both Special Education and Music for Kindergarten – 12th grade. Susan has spent the last thirteen years teaching Music, Special Education, Psychology, Band and Choir abroad in Germany, Ethiopia, Egypt, China, Japan and Syria. In her free time Susan enjoys playing piano, flute, singing and travel.
