Amber Jacobson
K/1st grade

Amber has been teaching early elementary for over 20 years. She was inspired by her grandmother who was a dedicated teacher for most of her life. This is Amber’s 5th year at TVCS. She says she loves the school because it allows her to be the kind of teacher she wants to be - creative, integrated, and flexible in her approach. After growing up in Kansas and attending UK, Amber moved to Colorado and taught at elementary schools in Denver and Vail. She earned her master's degree in education from the University of Colorado along with an endorsement in reading. Amber moved to Teton Valley in 2004 with her husband Brian because they were awed by the scenery and impressed with the sense of community here. Amber enjoys telemark skiing, fishing, walking her dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Bonnie Moses

Bonnie was born and raised in Idaho and loves the small town atmosphere of Teton Valley. She has been involved in early childhood education (ECE) for 15 years in various capacities. Her passion lies in project-based learning and Reggio Emilia inspired schools. She attended the University of Idaho and received bachelor's degrees in ECE and sociology. Bonnie, her husband Scott, and her two girls, Hannah and Cora, love the outdoors and spend much of their time camping, hiking, fishing, and gardening as a family. Bonnie is a member of the Governor’s Early Childhood Coordinating Council (EC3) that meets in Boise monthly. This council is appointed by the Governor to advise and assist the Department of Health and Welfare, Department of Education, and other early childhood service providers and state agencies on issues about young children and their families. Bonnie recently started a local non-profit for families that have children with special needs called Connections Family Resource Center.

Natasha Peterson
4th/5th grade

The inspiration for Natasha's teaching career came from her father, who was a teacher, and her desire to make positive change in the world. Natasha grew up in Evergreen, Colorado and attended Colorado College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Spanish. After teaching for 3 years at the elementary and middle school levels, Natasha earned her master's degree in education from Montana State University. She moved to Teton Valley from Jackson in 2008 and began teaching at TVCS that fall. Natasha and her partner, Jeremy, turned a former garage into a uniquely creative and environmentally conscious home in downtown Victor.
